this year

This year has been Amazing i love how at the start of the year hardly know one new each other and now we are like a family i just think this year has been great i hope all the year 6 have a great life and i think everyone had a amazing year i hope everyone at Parkvale school has a nice year and Christmas. the rabbit Tom and fox Timmy

               
 
Once upon a time there lived a rabbit named Tom one day when Tom went to the stream to get
some water Tom saw a fox and his name was Timmy so Timmy the fox came over to Tom and said, 'do you want to come for a walk?’  ‘ok,' said Tom. 'Goode,'  said Timmy.
So they set off and went to the stream, as they got closer they saw a beautiful waterfall. They decided to have a splash. 'On the countdown to zero,” said Timmy.'
Ok,' said Tom. '10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0,' yelled Timmy.  Splash.  'that was amazing' said Tom 'oh look it's getting dark do you want to stay the night at my house' said Timmy 'shore' said Tom 'then what
are you waiting for let's go' said Timmy 'ok' said Tom so they went to  Timmy's house by the time they got there it was mid night.
In the morning they went off to have some breakfast yum said Tom. After having breakfast they went of to play outside together.
They decided to play tag.
It was lunch time when Tom and Timmy went into Timmy's house.
After lunch they went back to the beautiful waterfall it was amazing to look at.
Next they went behind the waterfall and they saw a little door, they opened it and almost fainted, it was a beautiful site. There were pink fluffy candy floss trees, watermelon houses and chocolatte water.
Just as they went in they saw a tiger go behind a house, they stepped back 'Tom do you really want to go in there with a Tiger' said Timmy
'No I don't' said Tom 'then let's go back to my home and have something to eat, I am starving' said
Timmy.
‘so am i’ said tom ‘do you want to race back to the house’ said timmy ‘ok’ said tom ‘on the count of five we will start running’ said Timmy ‘ok’ said Tom ‘1,2,3,4,5,’ said Timmy ‘go’ said Tom
wish they went as fast as a harakan ‘i won i won’ said Timmy ‘you don't need to brag on like that’ said Tom ‘sorry’ said Timmy ‘what is that coming along’ said Timmy ‘oh’ said Tom ‘its my brother’ said tom ‘your brother!’ said Timmy ‘quick lets run or i will not be able to play with you i will be doing chors for ever’ said tom ‘ for ever!’ said Timmy ‘yes’ said Tom ‘ quick run’ said Tom ‘ok’ said Timmy so they ran and ran to the deposit part of the woods ‘where are we’ said Tom ‘ah lost’ said Timmy ‘what’ said Tom ‘lost in the deposit part of the woods no i can not believe you how dear you’ said Tom ‘i i'm so sorry but you said to run so i did’ said Timmy ‘ i did not mean for you to run into the woods and get lost’ said Tom ‘oh i wish i was at home now doing chors for ever than being stuck here with a fox that does now how to get stuck in the woods’ said Tom ‘i am so so sorry when we get out i will pay you every piece of money i have’ said Timmy ‘yeah right’ said Tom ‘oh i wish this never happened’ said Timmy ‘so do i’ said Tom  ‘can we be friends still’ said Timmy ‘of course’ said Tom ‘yay’ said Timmy ‘hey maybe if you use your nose we can get out of here’ said Tom ‘great idea’ said timmy ‘i'll try it’ said Timmy ‘yay’ said Tom ‘look i think that is the way out’ said Timmy ‘it is well done’ said  Tom ‘now do you want to go to my house to have something to eat because i am starving’ said Timmy ‘so am i’ said Tom ‘ok so first we will go get something to eat then we will go play in the waterfall’ said Timmy ‘ok’ said Tom so they set off down to the water over the mountain and back to Timmy's house ‘yay we are finally here’ said Tom ‘where were you’ said Timmy's mum ‘i was going to look for you just then’ said Timmy's mum ‘ oh we were picking berries’ Said Timmy then they ran to Timmy's room ‘ way did you lie to your Mum’ said Tom ‘ so she makes her’ said Timmy ‘ her what’ said Tom ‘ shhh’ said Timmy ‘ why’ said Tom ‘ because here comes my mother’ said Timmy ‘oh’ said Tom.  so up the stairs came Timmy's mother ‘ boys dinner is ready’ she said ‘coming’ Tom and Timmy said then Timmy's mother went down the stairs and sat at the table ‘ we’d better go and have dinner’ said Tom ‘ yeah’ said Timmy so they went down the stairs and sat and ate dinner ‘ yum’ said Tom ‘ i no ’ said Timmy then Timmy's mother went to clean up ‘ boys can you help me please’ said Timmy's Mum ‘o'reilly’ said Timmy ‘ ok; said Tom ‘oh’ said Timmy ‘ good’ she said. So they helped her ‘ yay we're finished’ said Timmy ‘ now we can go play in the water by the waterfall’ said Tom ‘ yeah’ said Timmy ‘ quick let's go befor my Mum comes back’ said Timmy ‘okay let's do it” said Tom so off went Timmy and Tom. Then they both stopped ‘ can you hear that’ said Tom ‘ i shore can’ said Timmy ‘ w-hat should we do’ said Tom ‘ um’ said Timmy ‘ go back’ said Tom ‘ NO we have to see what is over there’ said said Timmy ‘ really i don't want to’ said Tom ‘ come on it will be an inventor’ said Timmy ‘uh fine’ said Tom ‘ yay’ said Timmy so they keeped going then they came across a path they followed it suddenly a big bear jumped and landed right in front of the two boys ‘ WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING THIS IS MY PATH AND MY HOME’ said the bear ‘ why should we’ said Timmy ‘ stop Timmy he might eat us” said Tom then the bear knocked out Tom and Timmy then put them in a kag when Tom and Timmy woke up they were puzzled ‘ where are we Tom’ said Timmy ‘ um i don't know’ said Tom ‘ look a bear maybe he can help us ‘ hey  Mr Bear can you help us get out of here’ said Tom ‘ wate said
Timmy ‘ what is it now’ said Tom ‘ he put us in here’ said Timmy ‘ haha very funny not’ said Tom ‘ it is trow’ said Timmy ‘ STOP lying’ said the angry Tom ‘ uh why want you believe me’ said Timmy ‘ because he looks like a nice bear’ said Tom ‘ NOT every one you think is nice muyt be mean you never know’ said Timmy ‘ yeah but’ said tom and then he stopped ‘ wate i remember you are right Timmy oh my my’ said Tom ‘ GO AWAY’ said Timmy
‘no why should i’ said the bear ‘ I SAID GO AWAY’ said Timmy ‘ cram down’ said tom ‘ and stop yelling’ said Tom
‘ fine, bear why won't you go away’ said Timmy ‘ because it is my home and you and your friend entered without permission’ said the bear ‘ BUT WE Did not know’ said Timmy ‘ you should make a sign so people now’ said Tom ‘ uh this net is uncomfortable’ said Tom ‘ yeah it is’ said Timmy ‘ plz let us out’ they said together ‘ uh fine, but dont come here again’ said the bear ‘ ok’ said Tom ‘ yip we won't come in here again’ said Timmy ‘ good’ said the bear and he let them out ‘thank you so much’ said Tom ‘ bye’ said Timmy ‘ quick let's get out of here’ said Tom in a quiet voice ‘ good i dear’ said Timmy in a quiet voice so they ran and ran when they got to timmy's home the sore Timmys mum ‘ WHERE were you’ she said ‘ um you see we were out for a long ‘ long’ said tom walk’ said timmy ‘ i see’ said Timmy's mum ‘ now let's go and have some dinner’ said Timmy ‘ i am hungry’ said Timmy ‘ hi Hungry i am Tom’ said Tom ‘ how funny NOT’ said Timmy ‘ hey’ said Tom ‘ stop fighting’ said Timmy's mother ‘ and go inside it is about to rain’ said Timmys mum then they ran into there home ‘ meet me in my room i need to go to the toilet’ said Timmy ‘ okay’ said Tom and then after Timmy went to the bathroom they had a lovely day oh no know i have to go back home’ said Tom ‘oh’ said Timmy ‘ bye’ said Tom ‘ wate  before you go go see my mum’ said Timmy ‘ okay’ said Tom so Tom went to see Timmys mum and told her that he is going home ‘ oh well tack theres home and enjoy them with your family and you are more than welcome to come and stay another day’ said Timmys mum ‘ thank you i will come see you when i can’ said Tom so then he went out the door. The End

Be safe when biking

WALT Be Safe Cyclists.

In Room 19, We will know we can do this when we:

  • Know the main road rules
  • Read and understand road signs
  • Identify and anticipate hazards
  • Wear a helmet correctly
  • Carry out a bike check correctly
  • Ride a bike safely and with control around a course (and on the road)
  • Know what clothing to wear

  • Can break appropriately and safely
  • Make sure the stand is up securely on the bike
  • Stay on the left hand side or cycle lane on the road
  • Be responsible on the road/course
  • Be mindful of others
  • Always check behind you
  • Keep an eye out for parked cars, drivers sitting in their cars that may open their doors
  • Know how to change a flat tyre
  • Carry a repair kit

This is my bird piece of art. In my art my kea is flying down on the branch to look for food.
 The kea has beautiful colours; it has a nice bright orange patch on its wings. It has golden brown        wings going around the orange patches.
The sky is racing through the mountains making it as windy as ever.
The pebbles are standing still as stone just making it look good.

Amies brithday


       Amie’s Birthday
 
We woke up 6.00 in the morning then we woke up Mum and Dad Amie opened her presents.   
I was so jealous of Amie’s presents because she got lollies and little pet shops.  
The first person to arrive for the party was sienna then came Angela with Victoria and Rebeccah.
It was a hot sunny day.
We all got into our togs and jumped  into the pool, it was great fun.
we played tag, pass the parcel and lots of other game’s.
but the best thing out of all the fun was the cake it was Delicious.

Dear Mr G
I think we should wear uniform I have three good reasons why we should wear uniforms.
The first one is if you go on a trip and there are some kids there they might end up at school and the other kid might be left at the place they were before.

Some Kids fight about uniforms like if a kid says Mum Can I have a top with pink Sparkles because  everyone has One so I should have one”. So that is the second reason.

The last reason is if you get your clothes dirty or if you get die on then you might not get it off and you will be in big trouble if it is your best outfit.
You would be very sad and grumpy and that is why we have dark colors.

I can dribble on my right hand but not on my left. I am not in full control and my boy position needs work too. The ball doesn’t always bounce the right height.
I need to improve by…
practicing with my left hand more often and swap between both hands in practice. Adapt a way of improving my balance by bending my knees and not patting the ball.

Once upon a time there lived a queen named Miranda. She had a husband named Rolland they have two girls they are twins their names are Katie and Stacey they have a granddad named Duane they also have a brother named Sean he is 8 and Stacey is 9 and Katie is 5. The king had to go overseas to get a permission slip to stay king.  Miranda the queen said ‘ kids come here there is some one at the door we need to see who it is ‘ said the queen ‘ok ‘said the kids all together  so they went to the door and opened it.
‘ oh hello ‘ said the queen, you must come in here it is freezing out there. ‘ how can you survive out in the world’ said the queen.  ‘sorry my husband is overseas to get his permission slip so that he can stay king’ that is ok’ said the bears. The king rushed to the queen to say that he can stay king.  ‘how about we all have a talent show’ said the  king.  ‘who  is going to compete in this talent show’ said the queen the king said the dancing bears will compete, the big giant cat will compete, The twins will compete,  and Sean as well, The fashion models will compete as well. The show must go on!!!
then they  went off to the back of stage to get ready for the show. They went over to practice the talent show.in  the talent show the first  one to come up on the stage is the fashion models, they are going to show off there fashion. next up is the Royal Princess and they are going to perform royalty, next up is the Dancing Bears and they are going to perform dancing. and now the winners are the royal Princess 2nd place is the Fashion models, 3rd  place is the big giant cat, 4th place is the dancing bears, last place is Sean. ‘well done every one’ said the queen ‘thank you’ said the performers. After the talent show the queen and king died from a heart attack so the performers thought to stealing the king’s crown. ‘I know where the king keeps the crown”said Stacey ‘same’ said Sean ‘ I don't’ said Katie ‘ so where is it kept?? ’ said the Bears ‘ in the pineapple in the kitchen’ said Stacey ‘ quick someone is coming we have get the crown before they do’ said the fashion models ‘ OK ‘ said Katie and the Bears so they went to the kitchen  ‘ where is it’ said Katie ‘ i don't no it was here last time’ said Stacey ‘ they must have got it before us’ said Sean ‘ blow’ said the Bears ‘ how are we going to get it back’ said Katie ‘ i know we could’ said Stacey ‘no’ said Stacey ‘ what’ said everyone ‘ i was going to say we could go to New Zealand  and look for the person who took the crown’ said Stacey ‘ but it is a bad idea’ said Stacey ‘ no it is a brilliant idea’ said everyone together ‘ but how are we going to get on the train we need to be adults’ said the Bears ‘ oh’ said everyone ‘ we could dress up like one ‘ said the fashion models ‘ great idea’ said everyone so the all dress up like an adult Stacey went to buy the tickets ‘ look there is a kid going no the  train with no adult lets tack our custom of when Stacey came back’ said Sean ‘ look here comes Stacey’  said the fashion models ‘ finally’ said Katie ‘ got the tickets’ said Stacey  good’ said everyone when Sean told her about the kid going into the train with no adult ‘ maybe it is a adult’ said Stacey ‘ but how’ said Katie ‘ well some people are born very small’ said Stacey ‘ i don't like small people any more’ said Katie ‘ oh my’ said everyone ‘ my auntie is very small’ said the Bears ‘ i don't want to talk about them anymore’ said Katie ‘ ok ’ said everyone ‘ look our train is ready lets go so they got  into the train one by one and went to New Zealand ‘ were here’ said Katie ‘ look someone with the crown’ said Sean’ will phone the cops and you guys get him’ said Stacey ‘ ok’ said everyone but Katie ‘ i want to stay with you or phone the cops’ said Katie ‘ you can stay with me’ said Stacey ‘ but you guys go’ said Stacey so the cops came just in time and cops got the people and give the crown to Stacy ‘ thank you’ said Stacey then Sean told them about the king and queen the END.
